27I turned twenty-seven this month. Less the drinking sprees, overnight-outs and celebrations most often associated to Complicated Dude’s birthday. A dinner treat with college friends, lunch with some officemates and a date sums up an utterly boring and uneventful day. But I’m not really complaining. I might be a year older but I would like to think that the past year brought up a more serious, focused and mature Marlon.
Night - owlWorking at night is doing wonders for me. You heard it right, most people would complain of not having to live the ‘normal’ life but I would trade my sex life just to stay with my nocturnal ways. I am not as skinny as I used to be, I’ve got less pimples (with less sun exposure), and I have more sleeping hours now as compared to when I’m still working on a day shift. I’m wondering why most of my colleagues here in the center prefer to work during daytimes when it’s just so hot and humid (especially now during summer), traffic at its peak and just about a gazillion people roaming their ways in the metropolis during the day. And I’m not about to preach that having no social life during Friday nights equates to not having a life at all. The way I look at it – it’s less gimmicks, less spending and much, much more money.
Fun @ WorkI’m actually enjoying work now. I have a supervisor who knows how to motivate her staffs and a bunch of awfully talented and professional teammates. Most of the times, I am busy with work and stuff here at the office but unlike before where I am perpetually stuck with work for more than twelve hours, I get to do my work at my own but productive pace. My job now has got to be the most fulfilling, least stressing and exhausting and fun that I had by far. Even the lack of guys here is not worth whining for, hehehe!
33 inches!Should I be bothered? At least five former officemates, friends and family have commented on how big my tummy is now. I know I need to work on my beer belly but I’m just so not into having a buff, gym fit body, which is so GAY nowadays. Anyways, since having flat abs and not flabs is not an all-together a bad thing – what’s the easiest, most foolproof and least costly way to flatten my (bulging) tummy? By the way, I don't have time for gym. Gay friends, help me out!
